Term Project

Term projects will include a review of the applications and/or methods in pattern recognition. You should submit a report together with your presentation. The presentation schedules will be announce later.

Some suggested project topics are given below:

1- Cursive Hand Writing Recognition

2- Feature Selection Methods (Review of the methods)

3-Traffic Sign Identification

4- Face Detection Algorithms (Review methods)

5- Finger print identification

6- Deformable Models for Object Matching

7- Medical and Biological Applications of Pattern Recognition (Review)

8-Speech Recognition (review of methods)

9- Support Vector Machine (Description and applications)

10- Linear and non-linear discrimination functions

You may choose your project topic from the above list or bring your own topic. Each project team can be up to 2 people. You should submit your topic and team member names before May 1st, 2015.
